Absolutely THE BEST free Bible app there is!

At first I was a bit put off because the software didnt seem to have bookmarking capabilities. After a bit more exploring, I found out that it does,essentially, have this feature. The software gives you the ability to highlight verses with various colors. If you give each color a category name (sin, salvation, prophecies, etc) then you can search by color. All the verses that are highlighted in yellow for instance will show up in the listing. I only wish it had access to more translations. Other than that its a great piece of software in my prime bible reference that I now use all the time.

I mostly just use it to read the KJV. Im thankful this app is free and available. I would really like to see italics instead of words in square brackets. One of the first versions of this app had the italics. Time to bring them back! Plus the pilcrows!

The app froze and will not load or open…automatically shuts off.

Love the app. Its quickly becoming my go to Bible study software for prepping my message for Sunday. I am using it as my daily devotional as well. Love the Bible reading options.

This bible app has everything one could want when it comes to studying the bible

I recommend this app to anyone wanting to study the scriptures or to learn more. It has been a very helpfully tool and huge encouragement for me to use. Being able to have the lexicon has been great for me learning the greek and Hebrew. So any one who sees this get the app it is so worth it!

This is a great app! It allows me to carry the bible with me wherever I go! I can quickly refer to any book and the best part is I can listen to the dramatized audio of the entire bible using the New International Version. You can choose which bible to read or listen to and customize the look of it as well. I highly recommend this app! Take the word of God and Jesus with you wherever you go!!

Open two different versions side by side. Press a button and it starts to auto-scroll through the verses - really neat feature! Plus lots of extra features: Bookmarks, write your own notes for specific chapters, etc. And FREE! Thank you so much!

Really good design. Parallel bibles feature is the key for me - I use Russian and NET for modern English. Text and audio commentaries including Chuck Smith are awesome. Custom search of specific books or the whole Bible is great. App support is very good - these are Christians serving Christians! What could they add? Non canonical books, maps, an option to download more modern English bibles NKJ, NLT, ESV, NIV. Other languages and translated book names: Modern Russian translation by IBS, Estonian, Kazakh... Fix parts of the Russian Bible in the parts of prophetic books of the OT where text was garbled. But for free I am happy to keep as is. God bless the developers and their ministry!

This app is packed full of such great scripture and helpful study tools. 10+ stars. Your choice of so many Bibles, readings, study tools. Absolutely the best value for your money, oh, the app is free too. This Blue Letter Bible has kept me on track for reading the Bible thru 3 times now and Im about to start the fourth time. I use this Bible for my daily devotions. Its very easy to flip from book to book when in church or Bible study setting. Highlighting is very quick and easy as well as taking notes. I also appreciate the side by side translations.

We love the application and have gladly been using for a while as a favorite Bible but it is second time that it would not open even after restart, etc, thus melfunctioning....would somebody help us before we delete it and lose all data....
